B Squared Architecture Inc. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to alter this existing three-storey plus basement multiple dwelling by constructing a new rear addition, and to develop a new accessory building and three (3) surface parking spaces at the rear of the site, providing vehicular access from the lane, including:

    • conversion from six rental units ( five one-bedroom units and one housekeeping unit) to eight rental units (six three-bedroom units and two two-bedroom units);
    • proposed total height of approximately 35.0 ft.; and
    • proposed total Floor Space Ratio (FSR): 1.55 FSR (approximately 9,678 sq. ft.)


Under the site’s existing RM-3 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.

We welcome your written comments (letter or e-mail) on this development application. Comments should be received on, or before June 7, 2019, to be included in the staff review. However, comments will be considered up until the date of decision.
