GBL Architects has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop on this site:
- a seven-storey, mixed-use building containing a Church (ground, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th floors), Child Daycare Facility (2nd & 3rd floors), and 20 for-profit affordable rental housing units; all over 2 levels of underground parking providing a total of 54 parking spaces having vehicular access from the lane;
- a Floor Space Ratio of 3.08 (approximately 40,009 sq.ft.); and
- a maximum building height of 83.00 ft.
Under the site’s existing CD-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
We welcome your written comments (letter or e-mail) on this development application. Comments should be received on, or before March 16, 2018, to be considered in the staff review. However, written comments will be considered up until the date of decision.
