Colliers International Consulting has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to renovate and expand the existing Canadian Cancer Society. The proposal includes the following:
• Office and Hotel (temporary lodging for Cancer patients) use;
• Building height of approximately 43.3 ft. (13.21 m);
• Total floor area of 56,424.42 sq.ft. (5,242 m²);
• Proposed FSR of 2.10; and
• Addition of 30 qty. bicycle spaces.
Under the site’s C3-A zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
We welcome your written comments (letter or e-mail) on this development application. Comments should be received on, or before September 21, 2018, to be considered in the staff review. However, comments will be considered up until the date of decision.

In reviewing this application, and before making a decision, the Director of Planning will also need to consider City by-law regulations, and Council-adopted policies and guidelines.
