Mussen Cattell Mackey Partnership has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to retain the podium structure and adding two towers above. The proposal was approved on January 10, 2020. Amendments have been further proposed, including the following:
- Additional Heritage Density;
- Changes to rooftop forms;
- Additional parking stalls;
- Exterior changes to canopy depths on ground level at each elevation; and
- Associated landscaping on various levels.
Proposed net changes to FSR:
- Net FSR increase from 11.01 to 11.05; and
- A proposed net increase of 8,241 square feet in Heritage Density.
Under the site’s existing DD zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Development Permit Board.
The City of Vancouver is adapting its processes to accommodate federal, provincial, and local physical distancing guidelines put in place for COVID-19.
This application has been scheduled, virtually on webex, for the Development Permit Board on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 3:00 p.m.
