2355 Vanness Avenue - Temporary Modular Housing - DP-2019-00638

The Vancouver Affordable Housing Agency (VAHA) has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to provide Temporary Modular Housing on this site. The proposal includes:

    • A three-storey building containing a total of 58 social housing units;
    • A Floor Space Ratio of 0.8 (27,214 sq. ft.);
    • A maximum building height of 37 ft.; and
    • The building would be managed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by an experienced non-profit housing operator.

Under the existing CD-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
