2230 Harrison Drive - DP-2019-00303

DYS Architecture has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop this site consisting of:

    • a 5-storey residential building with a rooftop amenity;
    • containing 72 affordable rental units for seniors;
    • an approximate height of 21.46 m (70.4ft.);
    • a Floor Space Ratio of 1.92 FSR (4,867 m²); and
    • over a partial level of parking accessed from the lane off of Harrison Drive.

Under the site’s Council approved CD-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.

The rezoning application for this site was approved by City Council, following a Public Hearing, on January 15, 2019. Among the conditions of Council’s approval, the applicant must obtain approval of a development permit.  In making a decision on a development application, the Director of Planning shall have particular regard to the conditions outlined in the rezoning report, but may allow minor alterations to the form of development previously approved by Council.

Further information on this Council decision, including the Policy Report and related Appendices and minutes of the Council meeting, is available on the city’s website at the following links:
