1936 West 10th Avenue - Lord Tennyson Elementary - DP-2017-00530
Acton Ostry Architects, along with the Vancouver School Board, have applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop this site with a three-storey building containing a new elementary school on the first and second floors and a new child day care facility for 69 children on the third floor.
The new building is proposed for the western portion of the site. This proposal would replace the existing school building.
The proposal also includes demolition of the existing school, regrading of the site and development of new parking, playground and play field areas.
Under the site’s existing RS-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
We welcome your written comments (letter or e-mail) on this development application. Comments should be received on, or before September 25, 2017, to be considered in the staff review. However, comments will be considered up until the date of decision.
