1616 West 7th Avenue - DP-2019-00407
IBI Group on behalf of Solterra Development (West 7th) Corp. has applied to the City of Vancouver, to develop a site located south of West 7th Avenue on the west side of Fir Street. The proposed development complies with the C-3A District Schedule and the Burrard Slopes C-3A Guidelines.
The proposal includes the following:
- 11-storey, multi-dwelling building with a proposed height of 36.5 m (119'-8");
- 43 residential tower units;
- 4 two-storey townhomes along West 7th Avenue; and
- community amenity space, totaling approximately 6,000 sq. ft. over 2 levels at grade, at the southwest corner of the podium along Fir Street.
Under the existing C-3A zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Development Permit Board.
A Community open house is scheduled from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 25, 2019, Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Lobby, 1440 West 12th Avenue, with the applicant team and City staff available to answer any questions.
This application has been scheduled for the Development Permit Board on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Meeting Room (1st Floor, City Hall, 453 West 12th Avenue).
