Holborn Holdings Ltd has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop an 8 storey mixed-use building situated at the South-East quadrant of the Little Mountain Site comprising 7 levels of social housing rental units above one level of commercial space at grade. The proposal includes the following:
• 63 social housing rental units;
• Building height of approximately 26m (85.3 ft);
• Total floor space area of 7,258 m2 (78,125 sq.ft); and
• Two levels of underground parking with 52 parking spaces all accessed from the lane.
This rezoning application was approved by City Council, following Public Hearing, on July 26, 2016. Among the conditions of Council’s approval, the applicant must obtain approval of a development permit.
In making a decision on a development application, the Director of Planning shall have particular regard to the conditions outlined in the rezoning report, but may allow minor alterations to the form of development previously approved by Council.
