150 Robson Street - DP-2019-00809
Amacon Development has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop on this site a 29-storey, mixed-use development with a six-storey podium, including:
- retention and restoration of the existing Northern Electric Building façade;
- 131 market housing units in the residential tower (levels 5 to 29);
- hotel and related commercial uses at ground level, with four to six-storeys of hotel uses above;
- a Floor Space Ratio (FSR) of 10.08; and
- a building height of 88.5 m (290 ft.).
A new shelter space will be provided on another site downtown for the existing Catholic Charities shelter.
Under the site’s existing DD zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Development Permit Board.
This application has been scheduled for the Development Permit Board on Monday, February 3, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Meeting Room (1st Floor, City Hall, 453 West 12th Avenue.)

We welcome your written comments (letter or e-mail) on this development application. Comments should be received on, or before January 2, 2020, to be considered in the staff review. However, written comments will be considered up until the date of decision.
