456 East 10th Avenue - DP-2017-00221

Bnode Architecture has applied to the City of Vancouver proposing interior and exterior alteration to this existing one-family dwelling on this site. The proposal includes the following:

    • adding a secondary suite in the basement;

    • adding two dormers at the roof;

    • removing the existing stucco cladding and restoring the original tongue and groove wood siding and decorative shingles to retain original house exterior character;

    • connecting all floors internally; and

    • adding three new bedrooms and one bathroom on the 2nd floor.

Under the site’s existing RT-5 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.

We welcome your written comments (letter or e-mail) on this development application. Comments should be received on, or before March 27, 2017, to be considered in the staff review. However, comments will be considered up until the date of decision.
