Haeccity Studio Architecture has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to relocate and convert the existing two-storey character one-family dwelling into a multiple-conversion dwelling containing two units and the addition of a two-and-a-half-storey three-family dwelling onto the site for a total of five dwelling units of secured market rental housing and one-car surface parking having access from Prince Edward Street. The proposal includes the following:

• Total Floor Area of 480 m² (5,166 sq. ft.);
• Peak height of 11.3 m (37.07 ft.); and
• One surface parking space for a car-share having vehicular access from Prince Edward Street.


Under the site’s existing RM-4 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.

 

We welcome your written comments (letter or e-mail) on this development application. Comments should be received on, or before June 4, 2018, to be included in the staff review. However, comments will be considered up until the date of decision.
