7433 Cambie Street - Pearson Dogwood Parcel A - DP-2017-01150
Onni Group has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop this site with a two mixed-use buildings (26 and 22 storeys) as part of the Pearson Dogwood development. The proposal includes the following:
• 445 dwelling units (138 social housing units /307 market units);
• 44 Pearson supportive units;
• retail uses on the ground floors;
• building height of 285.4 ft (26 storeys) and 242.8 ft (22 storeys);
• 475,420 sq. ft. of floor area; and
• four levels of underground parking accessed from a new internal street.
Under the site’s approved CD-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Development Permit Board.
This rezoning application was approved by City Council, following Public Hearing, on July 25, 2017. Among the conditions of Council’s approval, the applicant must obtain approval of a development permit. In making a decision on a development application, the Development Permit Board shall have particular regard to the conditions outlined in the rezoning report, but may allow minor alterations to the form of development previously approved by Council.

This application has been scheduled for the Development Permit board on April 3, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Meeting Room (1st Floor, City Hall, 453 West 12th Avenue).

In reviewing this application, and before making a decision, the Development Permit Board will also need to consider City by-law regulations, and Council-adopted policies and guidelines.
