Iredale Group Architecture has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to change the use of floors 2 through 11 of this building. The proposal includes the following:
• change of use from Office to Service (Hotel) use;
• affected floor area approximately 110,000ft2;
• parking, per the Parking By-Law.
Under the site’s existing CD-1 (555) zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
Please note: The adjacent site at 833 W Pender is the subject of a development permit application for a new hotel (DP-2017-00064). Neighbouring owners will receive separate notification postcards for that application.
We welcome your written comments (letter or e-mail) on this development application. Comments should be received on, or before March 27, 2017 , to be considered in the staff review. However, written comments will be considered up until the date of decision.
