3365 Commercial Drive - DP-2017-00181

Cressey 18th Avenue Holdings Ltd has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop this site with:

• A four to six-storey building comprising 111 secured market rental dwelling units;

• Total floor area of approximately 7,400m2;

• Existing Class C heritage house relocated and converted to 2 side-by-side strata-titled dwelling units, in   accordance with approved Conservation Plan;

• A new infill duplex (strata-titled) behind the heritage house; and

• A single-level common underground parkade, accessed off of Commercial Street.

This site was rezoned to CD-1 (644) following public hearing.

Under the site’s existing CD-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.

Among the conditions of Council’s approval of this rezoning is that the applicant obtain approval of a development permit.  In making a decision on a development application, the Director of Planning shall have particular regard to the conditions outlined in the rezoning report, but may allow minor alterations to the form of development previously approved by Council.
