1810 Alberni Street - DP-2017-01157

Landa Global Properties Ltd. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop this site with a 21 storey mixed use building.  The proposal includes the following:

• 60 dwelling units (36 market residential units & 24 affordable market rental housing units);
• 3906 sq.ft (363m2) ground level retail;
• Building height of approximately 210’ (64m);
• Total floor area of 130,322 sq.ft. (12,107 m2) ; and
• 3 levels of underground parking with 109 parking spaces all accessed from the lane.

Under the site’s existing C5-A zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Development Permit Board.

A Community open house has been scheduled from 5:00 - 8:00pm on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at The Westin Bayshore, The Oak Room, 1601 Bayshore Drive with the applicant team and City staff available to answer any questions.

This application has been scheduled for the Development Permit Board on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Meeting Room (1st Floor, City Hall, 453 West 12th Avenue).

We welcome your written comments (letter or e-mail) on this development application. Comments should be received on, or before March 2 , 2018, to be considered in the staff review. However, written comments will be considered up until the date of decision.

In reviewing this application, and before making a decision, the Development Permit Board will also need to consider City by-law regulations, and Council-adopted policies and guidelines. Once a full application review is completed, a decision will be made. If you respond to this notification, we will keep you informed by re-notifying you as to the decision.

The submitted plans may be viewed at the Project Facilitator’s office, Development and Building Services Centre, 1st Floor at 515 West 10th Avenue between 8:30a.m. and 4:30p.m., Monday through Friday.
