1568 Alberni Street - DP-2016-00640
Merrick Architecture- Borowski Sakumoto Fligg McIntyre Ltd. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop this site with a 43-storey mixed use dwelling building. The proposal includes the following:
- 191 dwelling units;
- commercial units on the ground level;
- 254 parking spaces;
- 8 levels of underground parking accessed from the lane;
- building height of approximately of 132.35 m (434 ft.); and
- total floor area of 26,612 sq. m. (286,449 sq. ft).
This rezoning application was approved by City Council, following Public Hearing, on October 20, 2016. Among the conditions of Council’s approval, the applicant must obtain approval of a development permit. In making a decision on a development application, the Director of Planning shall have particular regard to the conditions outlined in the rezoning report, but may allow minor alterations to the form of development previously approved by Council.
