1485 Davie Street - DP-2017-01183

Vivagrand Developments has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop at this site a new 22 storey building with a three storey building to the rear. The proposal includes the following:


• 107 multi-family market strata dwellings;
• 51 social housing market rental dwellings;
• Building height of approximately 58m (190 ft.);
• Total floor space area of 15,069m2 (162,197 sq.ft.); and
• Three levels of underground parking accessed from the lane with a total 198 parking spaces provided.


Under the site’s existing RM-5D zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Development Permit Board.

A Community open house was held from 5:00 - 8:00pm on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at The Listel Hotel, Impressionist Gallery, 1300 Robson Street with the applicant team and City staff available to answer any questions.

The date for the Development Permit Board on April 16, 2018 has been cancelled. Please visit our website for future updates.

We welcome your written comments (letter or e-mail) on this development application. Comments should be received on, or before February 21 , 2018, to be considered in the staff review. However, written comments will be considered up until the date of decision.

In reviewing this application, and before making a decision, the Development Permit Board will also need to consider City by-law regulations, and Council-adopted policies and guidelines. Once a full application review is completed, a decision will be made. If you respond to this notification, we will keep you informed by re-notifying you as to the decision.
